@students-lifting-students-newsletterMorning Reflections...
Hello everyone! Stressful times are here! This time of the year is, by far, one of the most difficult ones. Students know that school is ending soon, are planning, or have already planned their summer. But, before all of this, we have to get through AP exams and finals! Even though there is a lot of pressure on most of you right now, just know that within a few weeks, it's all going to be over! Just hold tight and continue to work hard for a bit more and then you will be done. In the meantime, check out some of the videos posted below to learn more about how to ace your exams. And, as per usual there is also a monthly article! It's about how to make the best out of your summer. And finally, good luck to those taking AP exams and finals. You are all going to do great! The Official ProductiveSummer Planning Guide 2023
As many of you might know, school is ending within a few weeks and summer is right around the corner! Usually, most students spend their summer vacationing and relaxing or enrolling in summer programs. It might be too late to apply for most summer opportunities, but you can still plan your summer out and make it relaxing and productive.
1. First things first, could you write out your goals for the summer? What would you like to accomplish by the end of August? Would you like to take up a new activity or skill?
2. Write the number of days off you want to take in the summer: For example, let's say you would like to study for one of your upcoming classes. Maybe plan to check what's on the syllabus every other day. Assign Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as study days, and the other days, do something fun!
3. Make sure you make a timeline for yourself! The worst possible thing you could do is just work on a goal without taking note of your progress and not setting mini-goals for yourself. These are the two most crucial tasks you have to do for you to be able to meet your goal towards the end of the summer. Let's go off of the example that we used in step two. Write weekly or daily goals on what topics you want to be covered by the end of the day/week. Also, write down what you accomplished at the end of each day or week. By doing this, you will be on the path to achieving your goals and know all the fantastic things you can do when you put your mind to it!
By following these three simple steps your 2023 summer is going to be very memorable!
